  Notes	Civil War Veteran. Co.G., 19th ME Infantry. Fought in Fredericksburg, Gettysburg and was at the surrender of Appomattox Court House. In 1905 Albert and son Asher with horse and wagon moved the hearth granite from Elijah Parish Lovejoy's home and moved it to Colby College where it sits as a memorial to him. They are in 1900 census of Benton with son Walter and 1910 census of Albion with Walter.
